Credibility In Permanent Cosmetics

So, why do people feel a need to give outrageous stats on their websites as to how many cosmetic tattoos they have done? The latest one I read was over 50,000. WOW..that means for about 20 years (rare that someone has been doing cosmetic work that long and to that extent) this person had to average about 7 a day without a single day off including weekends and holidays.......liar, liar, pants on fire. You would have to consider as a minimum about a quarter of these people need touch ups within two years...10 clients a day - conservatively - 365 days a year. I would be dead by now.

Hell, my neck has gone straight and my shoulder and elbow is a mess from the cosmetic tattooing because it is always the same position, not like doing different parts of the body. I cannot even imagine being in this gig long enough to do much worse damage on my body parts and certainly not 50K worth. Also, after doing that many procedures, I would be very wealthy and not be needing to do any type of tattooing now or certainly not advertising to get more clients. I can barely handle my referral load now. If you take a modest $300 per procedure amount which would average the high end procedures with the low end and do the math, over twenty years it comes to $750K/year. Yeah, right.
